Classroom Rules
Along with being respectful and responsible, the following three rules need to be followed by everyone to guarantee a successful, productive school year.
1. EYES ON TARGET.
The “target” is whatever or whomever the student is supposed to be focusing attention on:
the teacher, the chalkboard, the written directions, the art project, etc.
2. TURN ON YOUR BRAIN.
Think before you speak or act.
3. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.
Focus on yourself. Translation: Don't worry about what people around you are doing, pay
attention to what you need to be doing to have a positive, successful school day.
